【Before Play】

◆Which HMDs are compatible with each store?
・Oculus Store(Rift / Quest are cross-buy)

 Windows MR

◆I can’t buy because I don’t have any space to play!

【Cannot Start the Game】

◆ I installed the Oculus Quest version but it won’t start.

Depending on the error, there are varied resolutions.

 

・ Error message: "A communication error occurred. Check connection status.".

First make sure that Oculus Quest is connected to the internet. In order to play the game, users need to be connected to the internet at startup.

 

If you still can not start we recommend a factory resetting of the Oculus Quest. There are two ways to do this:

  1. Reset through the Oculus Quest.

  2. Reset through the Oculus smartphone app.

Some of our users found success with their errors when resetting the Quest HDM through the smartphone application.

 

There are still some reports that there may be some issues connecting to the game, and we are optimizing in order to meet the needs of our players. In the case you are experiencing the above issue please feel free to reach out to us through our official Discord: #bugs_help_en

 

・If the game doesn’t progress ()you are stuck staring at the three dot loading screen, please uninstall the game and restart the Quest.

 

◆ If you purchase the app on Steam, you can not start in Oculus VR mode.

When activated in Oculus VR mode, the purchaser's authentication is performed on the Oculus side. An error will occur due to the permission check.

 

If you do have an Oculus device but own the game on steam please booth the game in Steam VR mode.

【About Game Play】

◆When I played I hit my hand on furniture and walls!

When playing, give yourself as much space as possible. Please be careful!

◆ I received damage even though I blocked an enemy attack.

Refinement of the combat system is a continuous process and based on user feedback we are tweaking to ensure a high-standard of accuracy.

 

◆ It looks impossible to get all 5 achievements in each challenge of single player.

Once you complete an achievement, it stays unlocked forever. Try taking on each achievement one at a time if your having difficulties.

 

◆ It’s too hard to get the “no damage” achievement in single player.

Since update ver.1.0.0.20098, the enemy's kick attack has been damaged "0". This will help with the challenge. Do you best!

【About Save Data】

◆ If I uninstall the game will my save data disappear?

Save data is managed on an online server, and won’t disappear if you uninstall the game.

 

◆ Saved data does not carry over between separate stores.

◆ I want to switch to another account with Oculus Quest.

Currently, according to the Oculus Quest specification, after resetting the Oculus Quest,

You can sign in with another account. However you will lose all previous data..

 

◆ I want to change my player name.

From the update ver.1.0.0.20098, by changing the name in your Oculus account and Steam account, player names are now switched within the game.

 

※Oculus Quest is currently not supported.

【About Multiplayer】

◆ I would like to play with someone on a different platform.

As Swords of Gargantua supports cross platform, it is possible to match with players of all platforms. Please share the room ID with your friends and play together.

 

◆ I get an error when trying to connect to multiplayer.

First, please check if you are connected to the internet. Also make sure that the app has been updated to the latest version.

【HTC VIVE】

◆ I am using HTC VIVE, but I can not see the boundaries of chaperone.

This is a known issue. We’re currently looking into this issue and once we have the fix we’ll update the game and notify all players through Discord.

◆ We use controller of HTC VIVE, but do not work normally.

Issues such as the trackpad continuing after releasing pressure, the hand in the game can not follow well, etc.

We have received numerous reports and are currently investigating. As soon as the cause is known and corrected, the update will be made.

【Other Issues】

◆ The game crashes sometimes.

Crashes may occur depending on the model and situation. We have also confirmed and are looking into it.

 

Through each of our updates we will strive to improve game performance.

 

◆ Tracking is broken.

When playing, best performance comes from bright spaces. In the case of Oculus Rift S and Oculus Quest, it seems that proper tracking can not be performed in dark places.

 

There is a case that tracking is lost momentarily. In particular, in Oculus Quest, it seems that there is a case where the hard tracking is broken if it moves too quickly. We are also investigating reports on this.

 

◆ I can’t hear the BGM.

Currently under investigation, but this is not a common issue.
